Face Lake makes everybody happy…

Kamloops Rainbow trout abound and we have the right information on where, when and what to use. Everybody catches on Face Lake, whether it be your first fish or your catch and release getaway, you’ll be happy you came.

Endless summer…

From now until Thanksgiving, Mother Nature is working her magic! The squirrels are busy, birds are teaching their young how to fly and the evenings are getting cooler, just the perfect setting for “fall colours” and yes, at a “Mile High”, we are already seeing tinges of yellow, where the morning mist settles on the willows along the creek. Warm sunny days and campfire & woodstove evenings- who said this wasn’t paradise? Perfect “Kodak moments”, so pack your camera!

Our family would like to thank our guests for making this summer another great memory in our 19 years here at Mile High Resort.

We are looking forward to another snowy winter, so plan on putting away your summer clothes and get your winter gear out and make plans to come up and enjoy our “other season”!

If you have a mountain bike, don’t leave it at home or if you’re out of room, rent one of ours or sign up for a quad tour on one of our new 2 up, 4x4 Outlanders. We now have a fleet of four machines so the whole family can come. Some restrictions apply for your safety.

Book now for your Family Christmas in the snowy high country. Experience an old fashioned holiday, cutting your own tree in the forest, turkey cooking in your oven, wood stove cracklin' in your log cabin and singing Christmas carols around the skating rink campfire. We have the facilities to help you make this one of your best Holiday Memories, full of old fashioned fun.

New Years' is always an exciting time for us, waiting for closure of another great year and celebrating the event with our families and guests.

We are open for winter activities with ice skating on the lake, cross country ski rentals as well as snowshoe rentals at the office, some ice skates available and even a snowmobile company out of Kamloops who will deliver your snowmobile rental right to your cabin door. Phone ahead to reserve before you come.

Whether you want a holiday full of activities or just good old R&R beside the woodstove, watching the snow come down or for a special treat go out for a night stroll and marvel at the night sky full of a million stars... you can find it all here at Mile High Resort!
